AC Question
I use a Nexus 5 (running Android 6) with a 1st gen Moto 360. I regularly walk and commute via cycle and Google Fit does a good job of tracking all of this without any user intervention. Now and again, I'll look back and see how much cycling/walking I did. I even use a customised watch face on my Moto 360 to show my current day's active minutes. This is all great.
However, I also play badminton but due to risk of damage from badminton rackets on my watch, I do not wear my watch. It would also be impractical to keep my phone on me too. Therefore, the numerous hours of badminton I play goes unrecorded as I am not wanting to manually add the entries.
I was thinking of getting a fitness band (e.g. Xiaomi Mi Band 1S with built in heart rate monitor) which I would wear 24/7. I read that it does have Google Fit integration but I wasn't sure how this would work if I where it in conjunction with my Moto 360 because during the day I will be wearing both (i.e. my walking around and cycling). Badminton and at night I will only be wearing the Mi band.
Does anyone know? Will it double count things or will it be intelligent enough to know it's the same data?
TIA
