Does Google TV Have Anything on Chromecast?

So, I just bought a Sony Google TV unit earlier this month. Mostly I wanted it for HBO GO but I also like to stream music through Google Play. I had a Revue before that broke down. So, imagine my dismay when I found out I couldn't use HBO GO because Flash isn't supported on the new GTV units. I thought I found a workaround with a Plex Channel for HBO GO, but it seems to not be working anymore. Now I see that I can get both HBO GO and Play Music through Chromecast. Basically, it seems like Chromecast can do everything GTV can.

My question: Is there any advantage to my Sony GTV unit over Chromecast?

Well, with Google TV, you don't need an additional device like a phone or a tablet or a laptop - if you want to call that an advantage.
