Does homtom s8 work on at&t gsm network?

I have at&t which is a gsm network and I bought a homtom 4g Android online and want to know will it work on at&t. Says it can but never tried it yet still waiting for it to come in the mail

Welcome to Android Central! I don't think it'll work well, if at all. The phone doesn't support any of AT&T's LTE bands or 3G UMTS bands, and AT&T deactivated their 2G GSM network.
