Does it matter if you rotate the phone to the left or right to take photos?

When I try to post photos that I've downloaded from my LG G6 to my PC, they are showing to be upside down. On the PC they are in the correct direction. I've even tried making a copy of the photo, editing it to be upside down on the PC hoping in turn that it will show right side up when posted and it's still upside down.

I've never ran into this before when taking pictures with my phone then posting them. This isn't an Oreo thing where you've got to rotate the phone a certain way in order to present pictures in the correct orientation is it?

Not totally sure about that. I always tip my phone to the left, so that the charging port is on the right. I usually do this so the shutter trigger is on the right hand side. My photos all show up like they should in Google Photos.

I have had some hiccups here and there, but they are in other apps, like Telegram.
