Does LG V20 support 5Ghz WiFi?

I want to connect my LG V20 to GoPro 6 for video preview over WiFi. It works with 2.4Ghz but when I switch GoPro to 5Ghz my LG is loosing video feed and cannot connect. Does it mean LG can handle only 2.4 WiFi?

Nope, the V20 does have a 5GHz WiFi radio so it should be able to connect to those network. The issue must be something different, like interference or if you are connected to a WiFi network (if this isn't a WiFi-Direct connection) maybe you need to switch both to 5GHz.
