Does my phone save check deposit pictures somewhere?

My husband made his deposit with a money order with his phone as he usually does but this time the bank lost the photo and is disputing the deposit. We have banked there for years and never had an issue.
Is there somewhere in the phone memory where those check photos go?

And your husband should keep checks and money orders until the deposit shows up in the account. If he did, he could just do this deposit over again.

But no, keeping a copy of the instrument on the phone would be totally insecure.
