Does Nexus 6 have metal disks in back like the Nexus 5?

You mean for wireless charging? It does but they are lower on the phone somewhere in the middle of the word nexus on the back of the phone.

I don't believe so.

Compare https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nexus+6+Teardown/32877 and https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nexus+5+Teardown/19016. The disks are clearly visible on the N5's rear cover; note also that the Qi charging coil is affixed to the rear cover. On the other hand, the Qi coil is directly attached to the N6's battery and there is no sign of the metal disks in the rear cover or anywhere else.
