Does Samsung Pay still work on Samsung Watch?

I keep getting an error after I install a Samsung Pay plug in for the watch. Does Samsung still allow Samsung Pay to be used in the Samsung Watch? I have model sm-r800 46mm

It does on mine, but I've since stopped using it in favour of Google Pay.

what phone do you have? It was reported that samsung pay no longer works on watches if the phone is not samsung.
