Does Samsung S7 SM-G930F have FM radio?

This Samsung S7 SM-G930F came from Germany so I supposed this is one of the European models. There's no FM radio pre-installed and when I googled how to activate this feature, a site was recommending to install the nextradioapp. But this nextradioapp is not compatible with SM-G930F. Looks like this nextradioapp is only for S7 for the US market. Is there a way to activate the FM radio capability for SM-G930F?

Nope. FM radio is a function of the SoC on board. The SnapDragon chipset sold in US Models has an FM antenna. The Exynos sold in Europe does not. You do get better battery life and a faster processor though.

My SMG930F also has disabled fm radio in Australia.

Thank you for the explanation. That's too bad as I like to listen to local radio in different places and I travel a lot.

Slight correction to your answer.... The Snapdragon 820 integrates an FM Radio receiver but you have to have headphones plugged in (they act as an antenna) because there is no internal antenna. You also have to install an FM Radio app like NextRadio, because the update does not include a dedicated app.

My Verizon S7 edge doesn't support fm radio despite having a s820.

You need to have both hardware and software support. The antenna is useless if you don't have the driver/software, and software is useless without the hardware.
