Does Sprint bandwidth throttle?

I run into issues anytime I try to upload photos to picasa via my android phone and via the Gallery/Share/Picasa path.

Any time I try, two or three photos upload, and the rest stop. "waiting to retry, 5 minutes", "waiting to retry, 2 minutes"... it has retried a half dozen times and the fourth photo to upload is still sitting at 52%, that number hasn't changed in 30 minutes. After a certain amount of fails, I get a message that states:
"Failed
Network error"

Then it moves on to not uploading the next. Same errors.

Does sprint bandwidth throttle? Is that what's preventing me from uploading my photos? If not, what else could be the culprit?

Never heard of them doing so, but knowing that Sprint's ran by sharks and pirates, I wouldn't be surprised. Course, it could be their piss poor network. How strong is your signal and do you normally experience that?

It has nothing to do with the network. It has to do with the app and the phone. Retry it again with just that photo since the other 3 are already uploaded.

Full bars, 3g, and experience it any time I try to upload more than one pic.

As much as I hate to agree, it may be the app itself unless any other functions on your phone has experienced the same problem.

Yeah, because the network is never the problem. </sarcasm>

I didn't say that the network was NEVER the problem. It is in this case though and that is what I was refering to seeing as how this thread is about picasa.

And I agreed with you, to an extent. But you're the one who was quick to jump on the "It wasn't Sprint's network" bandwagon response.

There's a bandwagon for this in this thread? I was under the impression that I am the only one that said it in this thread. Sometimes it is network related and sometimes it isn't. This is a time that it isn't. And I answed as such.

I didn't say you weren't the only person to say that. But that seems to be the usual canned response from you, right, regarding Sprint's network to be blamed. We're not sure if it is or isn't, so there's no need to try and believe that you're right and I'm wrong and vice versa.

On this website even I have said I have been having issues with Sprint's network lately!!!! You don't even know what you are talking about! If it was Sprint's network then the other pictures would have had issues uploading too. So it is most likely the app or the phone. I have used picasa before and when it has done that to me it has been the phone or the app or both. I am not just talking out my backside. I have been thru this and know what I am talking about. Thanks though.

I never said you were talking out of your backside, though you're full of hot air. You're the one who's prancing around saying "ooh look at me, Sprint rocks hur hur, you're wrong." And like I said before, I agreed with you that it may be the app. But like I also said, it could also be the network, hence why I asked if the OP has been through this before on any other apps. Get over yourself.

We get it, you hate Sprint. No need to threadcrap in every single topic, some people like having legitimate and constructive discussions.

@everyone

If these personal attacks don't stop, I will be giving out infractions (this goes for the entire Sprint forum).
