Does the battery charging module for the H830 G5 work with a Verizon VS987 G5?

I have a Lg G5 for Verizon, Model number VS987, i am looking for a charging module since i bought my phone used and the charging port seems to be messed up. I can only seem to locate the H830 parts for sale? is there a difference? will the charging module snap into my VS987?

You can get an H830 charging board (including the port) at LG G5 H850 H820 H830 LS992 Charging Charger USB Port Dock Mic Flex Replacement | eBay for $13 and change - but I really wouldn't suggest that you open the phone - or you might be back here in a few days asking how to get the phone working again.
