Does the essential have tweaked scrolling?

I went to Best buy o play with an essential and the scrolling almost seemed iPhone like. It was controlled and not free flowing like most Androids. Make no mistake that I'm not talking about stutters or jank but just slower. It's like in a Huawei device, it's the same thing. Anyone notice this or am I mistaken?

Im not sure. It didnt have the latest update because i saw it there indicating the fingerprint sensor trick.. Im assuming the previous build?

Might have been on the September build. Impossible to say for sure.

I've never owned an iPhone to say how they compare.
