Hi

I loved the weather feature on the G2 that showed rain or sunshine outside when you pressed the power button on locked screen. The G3 didnt do it aswell as the G2. Does the G4 have this feature

Those weather animations are wonderful, but it can be momentarily alarming when you switch on your phone and see very realistic 'raindrops' running down the INSIDE of your screen. :)

When I first saw the clouds floating on the screen I thought there was something wrong! Then when it changed to the raindrops I realized it was the weather! I do notice it doesn't do sunshine. Or does it? I haven't seen it

Go to settings then lock screen then check weather animations.

I have it on. Not sure why I can't see it. Do u have a lock on your phone?

Is your weather currently rainy or snowy? Doesn't do anything on a clear day.

Also, turn on location/GPS.

Got ya. It's been nice out here the past few days. I guess I'll check when it's rainy out.

It was one thing I missed going from the G2 to the G3, but I'm glad to see it back on the G4.

It's raining here today

My G3 actually had sun rays shining on the lock screen on sunny days. It wasn't as noticeable as the rain drops or clouds, but it was definitely a weather animation for sunshine and clear skies. I haven't noticed it on the G4 yet but it hasn't been super sunny the past two days (so much for the Sunshine state). It doesn't do anything on partly cloudy days though.
