Does the Galaxy A71 come w/preinstalled screen protector?

[Android Central Question]

I've had the phone a few days. Noticed today some subtle bubbles in 3 of the 4 corners. I panicked thinking I cracked or scratched the screen somehow. Looked closer and realized it is what sort of looks like air bubble. Looked even closer and it appears there's a screen protector on it. Came out of the box that way. I'm not a fan and these bubbles are so distracting (maybe I'm a bit OCD haha). I can't find anything about the A71 having a preinstalled screen protector. Only articles about other models coming with one. Can anyone confirm this? And if it does come w/one, can it be removed and how?

Welcome to Android Central! SamMobile says it doesn't come with a preinstalled screen protector (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a71/review), but it's possible the seller you got the phone from might have installed one prior to the sale. Where did you buy yours?

Not really, it comes with some plastic film; but wouldn't really call it protection. Though I did use it for a month before peeling it off and it DID stop a couple of scratches, as a few scratches were on the plastic film, but once peeled; not on the screen.

The glass itself is one of the older Gorrilla glass models I believe. Thought it isn't the latest, it should be fine if you're worried about simple scratches.

I purchased it from Fingerhut. I'm almost positive there's a protector on it. I guess I'll have to go to a retail store and have them look at it

It might also help if you took a close-up picture of the screen edge with another device and show it to us, if possible.

Here's the best pic I could get. You can really see it around the camera lens. Also, in the natural light it's obvious it has a screen protector. Just thought it weird it came with one. The box was factory sealed. I don't like screen protectors, but I'm afraid to take it off, it's on there pretty good.
