Does the Galaxy S21 Ultra support dual SIM or not?

Good morning all.

I'm very much considering getting the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Actually, I was torn between the Note 20 Ultra and the Galaxy S21. Seems like the Galaxy S21 has the better features overall.

I currently own a Pixel 4XL, which is great and I've been happy with it. Reason for a new phone, simply because of 5G and right now, there's no new 5G Pixel XL model.

On my Pixel 4XL, I'm currently using the e-sim and a physical SIM, which means I have two active numbers. Love this set up!

I've done my research, but I get tons of mixed responses.

Does the Galaxy S21 Ultra support dual SIMS? Doesnt matter if it's a mix of two physical SIMS or one eSIM and one physical SIM. Simply does it support dual sim and are they both active.

For me, this is a huge deal since my Pixel 4XL works great with the esim/physical SIM combination.

Thanks everyone for your responses!

Current region/carrier: USA/T-Mobile

I just read an article at least on verizon which I have they are going to be pushing an update out for this very shortly. If verizon is going to do this one can only hope it will be available to those not with verizon

Mine is an unlocked UK Exynos and it supports two physical SIMs as well as eSIM.
Yeah US version don't have dual sim the Esim just arrived to Note 20 Tmobile version so probably will go to other models and carriers .

As of today no in the US, there can be possiblity of future update to enable the esim. But personally recommend not to buy on promise of future update. If it's a really important feature for you then wait until esim support is rolled out or look for other options.

Any idea why phones like the Pixel do support dual sim but huge name like Samsung don’t even if both are on T-Mobile?

Just curious. Thanks.

Money. Your carriers don't care about locking in the 12 people using a pixel on their network, but do care about the 12 million using galaxy phones.

If I had to guess Samsung bends over backwards for US carriers , Google not as much .

That's kinda what I meant. I believe Google would bend over for them, but it would take A LOT of money and just isn't worth It.

Whereas Samsung have a huge number of customers who they don't really care about and will sell out for $30 and a bag of Reese's pieces lol.
