Does the LG G2 Have Mono Sound ???

My G2 appears to have one speaker working on the bottom of the phone. Does anyone know if this is a defect or was it designed with mono only ???

There's only one speaker. They aped the old iPhone layout of one side being a speaker and the other being the mic.
