Does the Mini need a case?

I currently have the carbon fiber decal hard plastic case on it. But it really doesn't provide a great deal of protection. Anyone else go without?

I have a Mini as a backup phone. Since day 1 its never had a case on it. I have a screen protector though.

I've had it since day 1 of it's release, no case and no problem. Dropped a few times but usually very careful. Glass is virtually like new.

The Verizon case / holster combo has worked great for me. I've used it because the mini is so darn slippery & this case provides excellent grip.
