Correct, there are dual sim models, but all the usa models are single sim.

I currently have a Samsung S7 USA Version with 1 SIM
If I can swap the SIM tray from the Samsung S7 Duos and install it on the S7 USA Version
Will the phone recognize the two SIM?

Nope. Won't matter if you swap the tray if there aren't any connector pins for the SIM inside the tray port. Or an antenna with dual SIM standby capabilities.
