Does "unlocked" version purchased from HTC work on verizon?

I bought the "unlocked" version of the HTC 10 from HTC's website when the phone came out. I have been using it on AT&T. Someone recently offered to buy it from me but he is on Verizon. Does the unlocked version only work on AT&T and T-Mobile and it would have to be the verizon specific one for it to work on verizon?

Unlocked are GSM/LTE units, Dont sell that phone to your friend as that person needs CDMA/LTE/GSM(GSM for roaming out of country) unit.

It won't work....without modification to the phone. Look it up through XDA if your buyer is feeling adventurous.
