Does Verizon charge to activate a new sim for the Note 3 ?

I currently have a rezound and it has a larger sim card than the Note 3. I have read where you can cut them down to size and have seen a few cutters offered on Amazon for about $5. I am looking to buy 2 Note 3's. I have moved my rezound sim card to a Thunderbolt in an emergency and it worked fine. Will Verizon want $35 to activate each Note 3 phone? If so can I cut the sim card from the rezound and use it in the Note 3. I would like to be able to put the card back into the rezound in case I needed it for a standby phone.
 
Activation fee only applies to new line of service. Upgrade fee applies whenever you upgrade to a subsidized phone. Other than that, you can move phones around all you like and there is no charge. You can get a micro sim from a Verizon corporate store or online or over the phone for free, and use a micro to mini adapter for use with your Thunderbolt or rezound
