I keep seeing all these threads filled with people running around with their hair on fire talking about how their phone is acting horrible. Maybe I just got a good one, and most people got lemons. I don't get it.

I love my Nexus. I don't have any lag, all of my apps except two work flawlessly, I had no problems unlocking it (and only a slight hiccup, my fault) rooting it. I have a little vertical banding but I don't notice it at full brightness. My battery life is pretty decent considering how much I use the darn thing. The ONLY issue I have is the reception. It's horrible. I had trouble making outgoing calls right near a cell tower the other day. My dBm is over 100, whereas on my Droid X it's significantly lower. I don't have access to 4G so I can't speak for those issues. If they can fix the cell reception issue, this phone will be gold. If not, I may have to return it.

The loudest voice gets heard. Those of us completely satisfied with ours don't start duplicate/triplicate/quadruplicate threads on the same exact topic.

To be fair to those having issues though, it does seem that possibly some bad images were on the devices. ROMs seem to be curing those buggy devices.

We seem to be the lucky ones with good stock images. Feel bad for them, but good for us :p

I do think many people are forgetting that we will be getting updates quickly. This is a Nexus. The difference is that this one has more mainstream attention than all the previous ones, and some people are just average consumers that were unaware they were going to be beta testers for a new OS.

I personally, am digging every moment spent with my Nexus. It's exactly what I've always wanted... a Nexus on Verizon's network. Effing win.

I think that people just want to . I hate reading all of these posts about problems. I am wondering how many are actually having issues and not just being a troll. I have problems believing that this many problems exist with this phone.

Mine works great. Gonna buy it a bottle of champagne tomorrow to celebrate a week of true love. But seriously, I think this phone is amazing.

I hate to pepper these threads - but I received a completely defective device. Won't even turn on or charge. It's going back to Amazon to be replaced whenever they get more phones. I hope this thing rocks when I get it.

Mine has been perfect, no dropped calls 4g in Omaha at work and 3g at home (not in a 4g area so its expected) no data drops, perfect screen, great battery life, the list goes on and on ICS is amazing, but best of all my dish remote access app works, unlike on the Rezound I rented waiting for the nexus. I switch phones like every 4 months but really feel I could hold on to this for the long haul, or at least until the next nexus :p

I don't think any phone acts perfect, but it's definitely the best phone I've ever owned. My issues are thus:

1) NFL Mobile and some other apps aren't currently supported :(
2) I had 1 random reboot last night.
3) I get low connection when I'm at home. Everywhere else it's great.

Considering all of the problems other phones have had at launch, including but not limited to the iPhone4, the Nexus S, the Bionic (owned), etc, I think it's great.

Although this phone isn't perfect, the only issue I have right now is that it takes too long to turn on the mobile data. Anywhere between 20seconds-a couple of minutes. Outside of that, I'm loving this phone and haven't had any issues to speak of :-)
