Android Central Question

Just upgraded to the Note 10 plus from the Note 8. Great phone however I take lots of pictures and notice that my pictures come out overly bright to where my pictures look unnatural and over saturated.

My note 8 took better pictures then my 10. The odd part is if I use the AR EMOJI feature to take pictures it comes out perfectly! Does anyone else photos come out this way? I'll attached a comparison pix if it'll allow me to.

Here is a comparison pix.. left is AR EMOJI camera and left is the stock Note 10 plus camera..so for the Hideous guy in the picture 😜

duplicate post from the pictures thread. if you go there you already have two answers, though perhaps not the answers you were looking for.

It's a camera phone not a DSLR and in my opinion it takes some beautiful photos. You can always adjust them in a photo app to your liking. I have a DSLR for photos I want to come out almost perfect but most of the time my note can do the job. And yes the photos are a little over exposed on the note 10 camera and maybe Samsung will tweak the software in a future update.

Yep, over saturated and more bright than they need to be. That was my gripe coming from Pixel 3. It is what it is.

Well the pixel 3 is obviously has great camera. BUT IMO, it generally darkens photos a bit too much and the colors are also muted. So it's just difference in how they process the photo. I always thought the colors on Samsung and other devices were actually more accurate than the pixel. Especially greens, grass and tree leaves always look more blue green with the pixel, and I prefer the more accurate Sammy colors.

I agree , I've seen that with darkening the photo.
