Does your S6 Active run warm?

Just curious to know how others' S6 Actives run temperature-wise. Even sitting idle in pocket and the screen off, mine has gone from a cool 33 C. to around a high of mid-50's c. according to CPU-Z.
When it goes over 50, it can feel a little warm to the touch. I do have it in a case, so that may be a contributing factor. It never gets hot as in overheating, and no error messages or shutdowns.
Just to be sure, I checked for rogue apps in safe mode, cleared the cache partition and did a factory reset with negligible result. My regular S6 and S7 Active run cold all the time in contrast. I don't have a problem with it as is, just was curious about what others have experienced, trying to get a feel as to what is "normal" for this device.

Well I can tell you when my S6 active didn't have overheating issues it ran pretty cool. It only warmed up when playing a game.

I can tell you a reason why a S6 Active could be warm: if the sim card reader starts to malfunction, for some reason the phone is constantly searching for a mobile network despite showing full bars.

I hope it's just a rogue app. Let us know.

I don't have any specific temps to give you but my S6A gets a tad bit warm ONLY when charging. Otherwise, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary.

Thanks Law and Phoneguy for your replies. It seems to be fine now. It's been sitting idle for about a half hour and I just checked and it's at 34 C. which is cool. That's the coolest I've been able to get to with the S6 Active. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have a problem before my 14 days was up. I also have the S7 Active and right now at idle it's 32.3 C. I think the S7 Active is liquid cooled, so it's going to run a few degrees cooler.

My pleasure. Have you had any issues with the S7A? I assume you know about all the S7A water issues

Not at all. Actually, I'm careful of my phones. I bought it (S7A) mostly for the battery. I put it in a Poetic Affinity case and told it "no swimming". If I truly spent a lot of time around water I suppose I would invest in a CAT or Kyocera just for that purpose.

Similar to Phoneguy - mine gets warm when charging, especially on the Samsung "fast charge" cable. Otherwise, not so much. But I should put in a disclaimer that I am a light phone user and normally don't have something constantly going on it.
