Doing a hard reset to a rooted phone?

I have a rotted LG G2 and suddently for an unknown reason, few days ago the battery started to drain so fast.
What if I do a hard reset? Will I even loose the root access...?

No, you'll still have root access. U may have to flash the Rom again if you're using one.
