Sorry....The most elegant design does NOT have more value than OS security.

I have stopped buying brand new phones for over $1K a long time ago. Sporting a ZFlip 3 from Samsung (got it new for $350 a year ago) and have a Pixel 6a as my backup. Don't feel like I'm missing anything with the newer phones. Will probably buy a Moto Razr of some kind in the next year or so (refuse to spend more than $400 on a new phone).
