Don't buy too many G6 accessories

I wasn't really considering the V30 based on early leaks, but it now, in essence, looks like a G6+, which is making it very intriguing.

This is one I am very very very interested in. I loved the G6 and since this follows the same form factor, (according to the renders) it should be very comfortable to use. The one thing I hope they do is go with a flat screen and zero rounding on the edges. That render seems to have a slight curve though so we may not get the flat screen like the G6. Im curious as to what V series features it will retain. Hopefully this one gets announced soon so we know what we're dealing with price and date wise.

I will be disappointed if it loses the second screen....devastated if it drops the Quad DAC. It looks like we most definitely lose the battery swapping so I hope its a 4000 so as it ages we still have decent capacity.

The one report I saw is 3200mah battery. If so you should expect about 7-8 hours screen on time with average usage and alot less battery degradation than previous. The 835 is very easy on battery so that will help alot.

I hope, if they go to Bluetooth 5, that we don't have the same bluetooth issues the S8 series has. It's coming to light that BT 5 isn't as backwards compatible as previously thought and the range issues are horrendous.

Bluetooth has so many issues

The second screen and DAC is what made the V10/V20. So losing the second screen kills it for me. Keep the second screen and DAC and apply the G6 design cues, then you have a phone. Based on the renders, they're close.

With the way the battery is better in the G6 than the V20, hopefully it continues to get better in the v30

Honestly the second screen was a bonus feature for me. What drew me to the V20 was screen size and DAC. I learned to like the second screen, but I can live it out it just like I can live without wireless charging after swearing that I wouldn't. The loss of swappable batteries bites big time but I lived without them before.

I'm also excited to try AMOLED. Apprehensive for sure but up for trying new things.

AMOLED is gorgeous but I am alwaya concerned about screen burn in. I know that it is a rare chance but could occur. I know the technology will get to where it will never be a concern some time.

Same here. That and the oh so true colors of LCD.

I loved the 2nd gen Moto X with the AMOLED. The active display helped a lot too. Wonder if they are going to advance/redesign AOD?
