Don't have a phone to trade-in

Hi everyone,

My first post here and first Android phone too. I've had Blackberrys and iPhones and have been on the other Mobile Nations sites, so I'm not new to the community. I'm currently using a Blackberry Z30 and an iPhone 6S. I'll be replacing the Z30 with the Samsung Galaxy S9+.

I don't have a phone to trade-in so I was wondering if anyone could recall how long after launch Verizon would give the $300 discount without trade-in?

You're usually looking at at least 3 months before you get a discount that big with no trade in.

I concur it'll be a bit before you see big sales on the S9/S9+ but check with Best Buy and Sams/Costco.

Are there ever any deals on buying the phone out right like an unlocked version? I see all these buy one get one free or so much off for trade in. But I'm selling my Note 8 to buy the 9 plus outright. usually there's deals with a free accessory or something.
