The information in that article is not correct....stated that it is going to be modular. No ones knows for sure but I'm now hearing the opposite

Thought they already said it was going to have a 2nd display like the V10. Even the renders showed a second screen and that image is just a render that someone took and added in a black case.

The phone manufacturers send out a prototype of the phone to the the case makers so the cases can be ready when the phones are released to the consumer.
The prototype could be just a shell made from a mold or it could be 3D printed.

Because it exists but isn't announced, phone manufacturers give the dimensions to case manufacturers, probably even dummy prototypes to test them on.
