Real HDR won't let you lower the brightness in full screen.

this channel has a lot of true HDR videos. you will know the difference instantly.

you will see in the resolution settings HDR and when you go full screen brightness will be cranked and you will see what the 2xl can really do.

Its funny... I used my OG XL today for the first time in over a week because I'm selling it on Swappa. I prefer the 2 XL's display now without question.

Am I missing something. I can't go above 1080p in YouTube. Option doesn't show. But the videos did look beautiful.
I don't like that they don't allow for the pixels to use the full screen. Is there a way to change that.

If you're on cellular, your carrier may be throttling your video. Pinch out to zoom

Every time I go to check out someone's Samsung to see how great the screens are...They inevitably have a filthy crappy screen protector on... LoL and I am totally serious

The only screen where that vid looks better is on my 28" 4K monitor.

This is not universally true, because there definitely have been real problems. But I really feel that a lot of the "reports" are from Apple/Samsung fans who are just trolling so they can feel better about their brand of preference. They were going on and on and on about the P2XL having the "same issues as the LG V30" before the phone was even released. Now there's a variety of reports of screen issues, none of which are the same as the issues on the V30, meaning those people were straight lying - before the phone even shipped.

The circle-jerk of hate towards this phone is troubling and sad. You don't have to like the Pixel phones, but don't just make things up to mock them, just like I won't lie and say my iPhone X has tons of issues (because I don't have an iPhone X).

heh, my buddy who has the pixel xl immediately bashed my screen.. then we both looked at the same picture i took on my 6p on our phones.. mine 2xl him og pixel.. the image looked better on my phone.. he agreed.. how does that work out ?

We wouldn't know since we didn't see it....it could be a preference
