Hi... My Droid-X 's cameras just kept getting worse and worse. It reached the point in which shutter speed and flash and you name it were totally out of whack !!. It appears that this has been a problem all along. In desperation I removed the Battery for about 5 minutes. When I started the camera applications, all worked fine as when I initially received it. I also found I had more memory available when I used the app killer to prevent background operations of different programs....
I hope this can help anyone having the same problem. Also note that it works at the same speed with 3mp or 5 mp settings. Good luck
