Double Banner WhatsApp Notfications?

Hi there,

I was hoping someone could help me. I keep getting Double Banner Notifications with WhatsApp. Is there anyway I could stop this?

Are those two banners exactly the same? One could be from the system notifications and the other from the app itself. Go to whatsapp settings and check if you have the pop up notifications on.
