Double Click to launch camera.

Anyone else notice that when the screen is off or on the AOD screen the double click shortcut doesn't work unless you wake the phone first? So it's more of a triple click.

I can't say about the AOD because I don't use it but as for the double click to turn the camera on from lock screen (screen off) it works fine for me, maybe it's a setting somewhere in lock screen or AOD settings.

Yeah I checked. Looks like I have to do an extra press to get to the lock screen then the double press for camera. This wasn't the case on previous models.

I use aod on a time schedule. But I just tried it with aod on and off, and double click launches the cameras every time. I've disabled Bixby and use it for the normal power menu, not sure if that's why

I restarted my device and it's fixed now.

Definitely why. Probably my biggest pet peeve about the phone. Has me constantly looking for the camera app since I'm unable to double tap and launch camera as is.

Yeah after a reboot I haven't had the issue since.
