Double Data deal on the nexus?

im sure you've probably heard of the double data plan that verizon is doing right now for 4g phones, and i was wondering when that might end and if the Galaxy Nexus will be out in time, and if its not, can i get the plan and do like a pre-order of the nexus or something, i don't really want to have to get the razr just to be part of the double data plan, i mean, don't get me wrong, its a great phone, but it looks uncomfortable as a ***** to use.

i was thinking about getting the razr, use it, then return it for the gnex when it get release.

Once a release date is out then if it's within the return date you should be good. Don't think this is something they will end a week after the razr is out.

the lady I talked to last night said that Vz didn't provide her w/ an end date, and in her experience, this usually mean it will be around for at least 2-3 months.

So...since I currently have 3G unlimited and am grandfathered for unlimited, when I purchase a 4G phone will I be offered to get this new option for 4 gig or else be forced to get only 2 gig, or do I keep my unlimited?

Unless they change things between now and then, the unlimited plan will carry over from a 3g to 4g smartphone

Where did anyone get an end date from, because none of the folks in store, nor anyone on *611 can seem to provide an end date.

I also have unlimited data currently, and by talking to a rep at *611 I got confirmation from her that my unlimited plan would stay in tact, even while swapping plans and phones to the Nexus. She's noted my account, which I confirmed at a local store.

Best I can do to ensure I keep the unlimited plan.

I was thinking the exact same thing. And Im still thinking it. I dont put anything pass VZW. Has to be some reason they arent releasing the thing...

This will help out alot because I won't have unlimited and I'll be moving from sprint to verizon.

I'm hoping to god, LTE will reach my home and my work.

Hi I've been hanging out around these forums for a while and am planning to get the nexus when it finally releases. I was wondering if people still think that the double data promotion will be going on if the nexus comes December 8th. I am a current Verizon customer with an upgrade at the ready but don't have any kind of data plan. Thanks

Amazon wireless is advertising the double data as valid till dec 15th
