Double Tap Issue

Don't remember last time I used double tap to turn off my display, maybe at work, but I went to dead, Alarm went off, went to double tap tp turn it off instead of hitting power button and it does nothing. It will not double tap off, it will double tap on normally with no issues. Just won't double tap off. I've tried fast, slow, all spots on the screen, etc. I have swipe set up, so I don't have any knock code or anything like that I just swipe and it's unlocked. I did try restarting it but nothing.. I also tried doing it on a different Home Screen, nothing.

EDIT: I turned on LG Home and it works, I turn Nova back on and nothing. So it's something with Nova which is good. but I've never had a Nova issue... I'm pretty sure I was using it quite a bit now it stops working?

Was this a trial and now it stopped working? Do I have to buy Nova now?

Not sure about the free version, but in Prime, double tap off only works when you double tap at the top/status bar area.

That works, but I just bought Prime, how do I change it to anywhere? I can go into Nova settings > Gestures > Double Tap > (Shortcuts Tab) > Activities > Settings > Then I don't know which to select to get it working, does anyone know?

The top is too hard to reach. Need it set to anywhere.

Download one of the various Screen Off apps from the Play store then set that app as the double tap gesture in Nova. I did this on my old LG G2 and it worked perfectly.

^^This^^ I am using this app with Nova Prime gestures and it works great! I also set it so double tapping the home button shuts the screen off! Nice feature that LG Home doesn't have!

Yeah, it works now... But I'm wondering why I have to BUY Nova, then install a third party app for this 1 feature that the original LG launcher had..

Which the original LG launcher should be what Nova is and does, these are simple features...

Side Question (Nova) :

1. Made a folder on home screen, the folder name is Maintenance, all of the word is on 1 line then the last letter 'e' is on a second line..... how to fix this? Looks beyond dumb.

If you want to run Nova, that is what you have to do as Nova doesn't support double tap sleep. I have been running the stock LG Launcher becuase I have found that it does almost everything that Nova does without the 3rd party apps. Sure, Nova has a bit more customization but I can still do a lot with LG Home to keep me happy!
