Double tapping a word in Swype - no suggested list...

Double tapping a word used to bring up the suggested list of words - now after my update it only seems to bring up the text selection tools?

single tap to place the cursor anywhere in or adjacent to the word and tap the Swype key. this will preclude the new text selection tools from obscuring the suggested list.
