For some reason my text messages are coming in twice...im using handcent not sure if its that software but i have uninstalled and reinstalled it and that didnt help... any ideas?

Open the default messaging app, then to the apps settings, disable auto-retrieve and notification....
thanksbut im not getting double notification im actually getting the message twice. Like lets say if she responds "ok cool" i get ok cool twice

Is it coming from just one person or from all your incoming msgs? Thinking possibly a Sprint or other carriers service problem? I've had the delayed texts for as much as 30 mins to an hr or two.. Ended up being a Sprint tower related issue.
it doesnt happen all the time but when it does happen its not just from one person it varies
