Downgrade from Lollipop?

I'm not familiar with the G2 firmware stuff. Will this delete any app data or is that only on Samsung phones?

Why would anyone want to do that? Lollipop so far is light years better than the old stale 4. whatever. IMO.

Yes

Everyone has their reasons. Maybe a critical app isn't functioning correctly.
Maybe they just don't like it.

Because the Lollipop has a crappy design. I feel like I went from a win XP theme to a win 95 theme.

Everything on the lollipop has become more black and white with squarish shapes.

I agree, this update is awful!!

It runs down the battery very quickly

It deleted all of my saved wifi passwords

The options tab was replaces with a task manager tab,

and as stated above, it's all black and white.

5.0.2 is a huge FAIL! imo:-)

Just install a different launcher to customize it how you want. There are many available on Google Play. That way you'll still get the improved (don't try to say it's not) functionality of Lollipop.

Also, if you're having a lot of problems, specifically battery drain when not in use, you may want to do a factory reset. I know it sounds scary and is kind of a pain depending on how many apps you have installed, but all the experts say that it's a very good idea to do it when you've done a major update. I did it and my device is working great.
