Downgrading to KitKat from Lollipop GS5

Hey guys!

I was planning on reverting back to KitKat on my Galaxy S5 after accidentally updating to Lollipop. I have been experiencing many problems with this new update, including repeated "Battery Cover" popups, reduced battery life, and just a horrible experience.
I have already read how other users are doing with the new update, and have decided that it's time to go back.
But before I begin the revert process, I have a few questions.
First, would reverting back to an older OS take up any more storage space on my phone as it had originally???
Second, what might be some risks of downgrading???
And lastly, if YOU downgraded, how are you doing with the reverted OS???

Hi can you tell me how to downgrade to kitkat...lollipop fkn sucks!!! Cant even read the damn phone with the color change. Stupid upgrade!!! You seem to be the only one here who knows how to go back.

I'm 99.9% sure you can't downgrade back to Kitkat. Bootloaders were updated in the Lollipop update. Thus, making downgrading impossible.
