Downloaded CM 6.1.1 instead of 7 on Evo

I was reading a lot of complaints with CM7 (ie. problems with GPS) so I thought I would go with 6.1.1. Unfortunately, I was having problems with no 4G option and with Android Market force closing every time I opened it. To make matters worse, I thought it would help if I uninstalled Market (after backing it up) and reinstall, using Titanium... The problem is, I ended up deleting the Market completely! http://forum.androidcentral.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do next? How do I get Market back? Should I bite the bullet and upgrade to CM7.0.2? Should I choose another ROM altogether? If I do choose one of the many flawed ROMs does anyone know where I can grab the patches? Please note, the primary reason I took the plunge into rooting my phone, etc. was to make my phone capable of streaming in 720p using FullHDMI.

If you can find it, there was a CM6.1.2 version that had 4g. I don't have a link for that.
If you still have the Gapps for CM6 then reflash it to get the market back. If not then here is the link for that. Index of /gapps/ You want the hdpi download

GPS has been completely fixed and rewritten, as of 7.0.2.1. Wipe everything and go with cm7.

Thanks guys, I first tried gapps and that worked to get the market back, but I was still getting force closes.
Then, I saw igots post and checked out 7.0.2.1. It seems that they only put this up a couple hours ago, so I downloaded with rom manager... So far, so good. I got rom manager back and the phone is running much smoother now. After all my apps are done downloading, I'll check out gps, video camera, and hdmi. I'll let you all know how that goes... Thanks again for your help!

I have the 6.1.2 wimax alpha version if you want me to email it to you, but I think 4g works better in cm7.

Well, I checked out 4g and gps and 4g is ok, but... My GPS is not working anymore with the latest cm7.0.2.1. Any ideas now???? Help!

Well, I decided to go with Myn 2.2, which was working fantastic, especially compared to cm7. Then I got greedy and tried flashing Netarchy toastmod kernel and I screwed up... I didn't wipe Dalvik cache and I got stuck on the white HTC screen. I went back in and wiped the cache and the dalvik cache & that didn't work. Then I did a Nandroid restore and I'm still getting stuck on the white screen when I hit reboot. What should I do next???!!! You all probably think I'm an idiot by now and you would be correct...

Try doing a complete wipe (data,cache, dalvik) and then restoring the back up.

Did you just flash cm6.1.2? If so did you flash the right gapps?

What issues are you having when trying to get cm7 flashed? Are you wiping everything? (data, cache, dalvik)

To get cm6.1.2 off you need to either flash a new rom or restore your backup.
