Hello all.

Often times I turn on my phone and it instantly throws a bunch of notifications into the notification bar from a variety of apps.

I've gone into the battery settings and stopped all optimizations and the performance is set to performance.

Anybody know if I'm missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, your referring to phone from completely turned off then gets a bunch of notifications or screen is off then going into the phone after awhile ?

No.
The phone is on.
It just hasn't been used for awhile.
Pick it up, turn it on. No notifications in the bar, then it fills up before my eyes.

Try this , go to settings >apps>3 dots upper right corner tap > tap special access >go to adaptive notifications tap > turn from adaptive to none Screenshot_20200824-021335_Settings.jpg

Cool.
Thank you.
Gave it a shot.
I also noticed the "optimize battery usage" menu.
A lot of apps are optimized even though that doesn't show up on the battery screen.

Hmmmmm.
There are many areas to tackle for notifications, like in device care , those that are listed as optimized but like to tackle this one first as its global type settings , then we can work on others if this don't workout .your welcome!
