I had to downgrade from 6.0.1 back to 5.1.1 on my phone. Android marshmallow on my Sony smartwatch 3.
I have a sm-910f note 4. 6.0.1 firmware has just been released. I tried the German and the Cyprus firmwares. Factory reset each time.
Problems were that my Sony smartwatch would lose sync when ever my phone's screen was turned off. Google voice commands would not work either. Send texts and play music etc when phone screen off would not work, retrying and Google disconnected error messages etc.Also Google play refused to play any music radio stations . Everything was greyed out, screen on or off. Also bbc iplayer radio app also stopped playing when the screen was off. Everything except Google play music worked when the screen was on.
I turned 6.0.1 battery optimisation off completely. Reinstalled watch several times. Fresh factory firmware install. All google apps, android wear uninstalled, cleared caches etc. Changed bluetooth Google settings on phone and Google voice settings to on all the time. Same problem. Once screen went off. Every app stopped working. Looks like doze is on all the time.
