So i've searched high and low looking for a solution to my problem and i have seen that there has been a few people having this problem so here it goes

Updated phone (Motorola RAZR i) to the new Jelly bean 4.2.
Battery levels is drained like after a few minutes on

Ive done a factory reset and reloaded all my apps and checked other programes running in the backgrond and everything is fine.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!

UPDATE: Disregard the picture attached. Somehow check in got checked as I was doing a screen capture. So did location history.

Go to maps, press the menu button, and go to settings. Choose Location. Turn off reporting. I have everything turned off. This should stop the background reporting on maps. If you use Picasa apparently there is an issue with the gallery trying to sync Picasa constantly in the background. Check Facebook and determine if you really need notifications on. I turn everything off with Facebook. I already get email notifications about updates, so I don't need the app to do it. I also manually sync contacts in Facebook with existing contacts. Check for Motorola apps that may have an update that does not update thru the Play Store. You will have to open them and see if there is an update. My wife's GS3 had a Samsung update to Allshare Cast that was trying to update in the background and eating battery.

Hope this helps. I'm using a Note 2 so my battery life is great. But my wife has a GS3 and I had to do these after her 4.1.2 update.
