Drawing on pictures on S9 produces weird results

When drawing on pictures, dragging towards the navigation menu distorts my drawing/lines. Picture:

Various lines were drawn and the lines are normal until my finger drags closer to the nav menu. Once I do that and release my finger it distorts the line. Is this supposed to be a feature or is it a bug?

It's a bug...ish. It's the screen messing up touch input because you get close to the nav bar, which has specific touch input actions that actually supersede the app you're using (in this case, picture editing). If you hide the nav bar it should improve, but you'd probably still get some distortion when near the edge (making the nav bar re-appear), especially if you're drawing away from the bottom edge. It also improves with a finer stylus vs your fingers.
