Ok do not judge me on the game but my Son plays pokemon go and on my note 8 and s8 plus it is full screen.

No matter what i do on the s 10 plus i have that stupid black bar at the top like i have the hide camera on which i do not.

HOW can i get it full screen please. Thanks...

Try settings, display, then full screen apps it should list all the apps you have press on it and select full screen

Yes i know full screen apps and i select that and the game loads up in full screen as it is loading then when it gets in game it is back to non full screen. So all it changes is the game loading up nothing else.

Every other app on auto opens full screen. Ill call samsung tomorrow this is annoying as hell. The game is samller on this then on the 2 older phones

It could be that the app is just set up that way maybe because certain controls or content will be blocked but the cutout

Let us know what Samsung responds

It is what it is... Samsung said the top border is that way. So really i am playing the game on less of a screen. It is full screen but the top is gray and you really do not see the top. Any way ill stop by the sprint store those guys are good with stuff but i will let them have a week or so lol

Unfortunately there is only one way to remove the navigation bar from the top of the screen in PoGo. If you start the game, click on settings, then log out, when you log back in the bar is now transparent as it used to be on previous versions of the Samsung UI. For some reason, they no longer allow you to set this as transparent. Very annoying as it turns transparent in other apps, but not in PoGo. Who's to blame for this? I have no idea, but it's either Niantic (PoGo developers) or Samsung. I would say it's Samsung as no other phone suffers from this. Just out of curiosity, are the other Samsung devices on Pie or Oreo?

Yeah I have a few games that I play gets cut off from the punch hole. It's definitely so the punch hole doesn't cover some of the game functions. A couple of my games would definitely suffer from missing functions if it was at full screen.
