Driving mode doesnt read out messages all the time?!

I like to put my note in driving mode so i can hear who is texting me but i only notice that it only reads the name aloud right at the beginning, meaning it only reads the texts after i reboot my phone. Disabling and enabling driving mode doesn't help either. has anyone noticed this issue? and any fixes for this?

I noticed that driving mode doesn't always work but i haven't figured out when our why yet. So i would like to have input on this as well.

I have noticed that it's sporadic. I finally went back to using Enhanced Caller ID from the Play Store. It works great and can read gmail too.
