I've rooted my Thunderbolt last week the hard way, and everything seems to be smoothly working, except One Darn Thing.

Everytime I download videos (.avi files) and put them on the SD Card (usually shows that I download via torrent), and try to play it on the HTC Thunderbolt, it usually plays the first 30 seconds, and it gives me an error and later on gives me two identical notifications that say

DRM Notifcations - License Required

and when i press on them, they route me to the homepage.

Any ideas what could be the solution?

Thanks in advance!!

I'm having the same problem as well. I decided to use rockplayer to play my videos and it worked fine there.

Also same problem. I also use rockplayer but wish I didn't have to as it's software decoding is a little rough on the battery. It does, though, save the spot in your show or movie when you exit, which is super nice. Wish the embedded media player did that.
