Droid 1 Xoom what tethering apps work?

I am having a problem getting my Xoom to connect to my Droid 1 using Bluetooth via WiFi tether. Don't know if it is something wrong with the app or Verizon locking it down. The zoom successfully connects to the Droid but the vibration my Droid usually does when tethering starts is absent. Any ideas?

Your Droid is rooted, right? I have CM7 on mine and I can use Wifi Tether to bluetooth tether my Xoom to it.

Verizon with a Droid1 doesnt support BT tethering. USB tethering is possible without root but that only works with a laptop or PC.
