Everyone is saying the Droid X has motoblur but sources confirm it in fact doesn't. Does the Droid 2 have motoblur? yes right?

I don't have the answer to your question definitively, but my understanding was the D2 had a similar implementation as the DX. It's also my understanding that the DX does have MotoBlur, albeit a "lighter" and "less-intrusive" version than that released on other devices.

They aren't calling it Motoblur, it's just "blur" or sometimes called "ninjablur." It's basically a Motorola launcher and a ton of Motorola widgets that you can delete if you don't want them.

The correct term is philblur.. its just there Widgets and launcher.you can replace it all with custom stuff.

There is no such thing as NinjaBlur. That is just the result of an internet rumor run amok. The CEO of Motorola himself said the phone does in fact have "Blur" The apks within the system are also in fact, labeled "Blur" The MotoBlur in phones like the Cliq or the Devour actually functioned as a cloud service. The DX and the D2 only have Moto's software, with none of the aforementioned services. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. That's where they differ.

Now, for my own opinion:
The negative backlash that Moto has gotten from the tech community has Moto a bit shy about calling ti "MotoBlur" They seem to want to distance themselves from that moniker, so there seems to be a bit of backpedaling whenever the subject is brought up.

The only "blur" like part of the the phone seems to be the FB app they use. Outside that none of it is the motorola cloud stuff they tried to use earlier. It is still a Motorola customized install, so if they want to call their installation Blur, like HTC does with Sense then so be it. But it isn't the package they released on the Devour and such.

Yeah, it's blur-lite essentially. And the X and D2 have exactly the same modifications done sans for a few 2.2 specific things that are only on the D2.
