Droid 2 not on Verizon Website

I am helping my brother make the switch to Verizon. I recommended to Droid 2 to him and he likes it. But on Verizon's website as of yesterday I only see the Droid 2 Global. Has Verizon replaced the Droid 2 with the Global version?

I have not checked my local Verizon store to see if they have the Droid 2 on display. I will and then report back.

yes D2 has been replaced with D2G
