Droid 3 software messed up, factory reset does NOT work, Help!?

hi ,
so i have a motorola photon and as of two days ago i have been having the same problem. i have tried both methods of trying to erase everything off the phone and still nothing. everything loads back up from a saved state on the phone . i have erased every app that was saved even tried sync n save with everything erased n on power up bam everything is back . tried again and doing a factory reset afterwards n nothing , any help or ideas would b grateful . wasnt sure if i was able to do the same to the photon as he tried doing to his droid.

You can try re-flashing firmware, but needs to match the model and carrier, but likely there is no fixing.

I have a Droid 3 as well and just began experiencing the same problems.. any solution yet?
